New Book Club Alert!!
(September 2, 2024)
Are you ready to embrace a new in-person community of book lovers where novels meet mocktails? Folktales & Fauxtails is set to have you immersed in an engaging, culturally relevant discussion about the book of that month while enjoying savory, curated and handcrafted mocktails. Our book club is the perfect blend of thought-provoking yet fun literary exploration and delicious refreshments while being in a safe, welcoming atmosphere for book lovers of all kinds.
The proposed setup is to have spring (Jan-April) and fall sessions (June-Sept). We meet in person once a month for four consecutive months, take a month break and restart the new four-month sessions. I also have some potential surprises for/at the sessions that I will discuss when you sign up and attend the first session. I chose our first book to be “Tampa” by Alissa Nutting and you can purchase from all major bookstores or listen on audiobooks or check it out from the local library. We will have our first meetup at West Community Library at St. Petersburg College in Clearwater (full address is on the flyer). The book club is free but in case we have to change the location and it is at a restaurant, you will be responsible for purchasing your own food and non-alcoholic beverages. We’ll only utilize technology for the sessions if we experience bad weather in these Florida streets. LOL
We’re started off small with 12 OPEN SLOTS available for the Spring 2025 Sessions. If you know you’re going to be busy and will not be able to consistently meet, please do not sign up. We’ll open available slots for the Fall 2025 Sessions.
Thank you to our sponsors! Go ahead and SECURE 1 OF 12 SPOTS NOW!

TELL PUBLISHING Hosts Bowling Fundraiser for The Destiny House
(April 7, 2022)
The Destiny House is going on in-person tour – the “What’s Next?” post-secondary options tour – to schools in Memphis and surrounding areas to meet with scholars to figure out what they want to do beyond high school. The main options TDH specializes in preparing scholars for are college, career/workforce, entrepreneurship, military and/or gap year. The tour will feature TDH Founder and current board member LaShundra D. Richmond, who currently resides in San Diego. With the financial contribution of the bowling fundraiser, TDH wants to expand the tour to other cities outside of Memphis. The owner of Tell Publishing, TJ Jefferson, is the Board Chair of The Destiny House.
