2018 #HERoineLegacy Honors Brunch and Magazine Reveal Event

The former Fresh Touch Publicity company continued the brunch event to the reveal of the #HERoineLegacy Magazine with the goal of publicly honoring women during Women’s History Month (March). The honorees were chosen based off their personal stories and their intentions in overcoming whatever obstacle that came directly or indirectly in their way, their decision-making and perspectives on how they want to maneuver through their life. This year, we had our first honoree from the “mid-south” area – Clarksdale, Mississippi.
This year was a sold-out event. Comedienne Azizah Bashirah was added to the program to do a comedy set and to co-host with Jamal Whitlow, the Creative Director of Privileged Memphis. The guest speaker was Nina Allen-Johnson, CEO/Founder of Creative Solutions. The magazine was dedicated to one of our favorite Mississippi foremothers, Fannie Lou Hamer.
